FinCrimeRadar provides financial crime intelligence tools for informational purposes. These terms explain what you can expect from the platform, and importantly, the limits of our sanctions and PEP screening tool.

1. Who we are

FinCrimeRadar ("we", "us", "our") is operated by FinCrimeRadar Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17324449, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

By accessing or using fincrimeradar.org (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

FinCrimeRadar provides financial crime intelligence tools and content for informational purposes, including sanctions and PEP screening, compliance guides, regulatory news, and training tools such as Scenario Lab.

The Platform is an information and intelligence tool. It is not a substitute for professional legal, compliance, or regulatory advice, and it does not constitute a recommendation to take or refrain from taking any specific compliance action.

Our sanctions and PEP screening tool draws on third party data sources, including OpenSanctions bulk data exports. You acknowledge and agree that:

Sanctions and PEP data displayed on the Platform is sourced in part from OpenSanctions and other publicly available datasets. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third party source data. Where source data is updated or corrected upstream, there may be a delay before this is reflected on the Platform.

5. No professional advice

Nothing on the Platform, including guides, articles, the Knowledge Hub, or Scenario Lab content, constitutes legal, financial, tax, or regulatory advice. You should seek advice from a qualified professional before making decisions based on content found on the Platform.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to guides, articles, the screening engine, Scenario Lab materials, and site design, is owned by or licensed to FinCrimeRadar Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for your own personal or internal business use.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
